Bike started fine but major fail ..... LOUD knocking coming from the clutch and if u put it into first it stalls
What have you done Mr Grey ??? Have you given any consideration to "WALKING" Think we need a break at the Lunatic, all getting to hard. Sure you'll figure it out.
Think Ill buy a horse Havnt pulled it yet but I have a feeling the cogs on the rear of the basket arnt lined up maybe U have to put in the main bearing and spacer after u manouvere the basket into the motor over the shaft
Thread closed Into the trash heap it goes .... sounds like something big time engine orientated **** knows how its happened as its just been sitting in the shed for months and was fine before
Mate thats ****. After 41 pages in the thread I would've thought of giving up as well... Seriously, don't give up. You'll find out what it is
IMHO Take off the clutch cover, stator cover, and spark plugs and rotate the engine by hand / socket&ratchet. That way you can see what's causing that noise if it's in the clutch
The sprocket drives the oil pump and the water pump on the 400. Have you taken the clutch cover off since the noise started? We cannot tell from the video where the noise is coming from. If it is coming from the clutch cover then it is not likely to be anything major. Anyway here is a thought. As well as what Linkin suggested, also check the inside of the clutch cover for any marks. You fitted an aftermarket clutch pack so something is different right there. cheers Blair
