That first pic looks very suspiciously like my bike

Even down to the scottoiler I have since taken off. Really, I am sure it is mine lol!

Hey all, bought this little beast as a winter project for myself, not sure what I intend to do with it once I'm done. Either my wife will upgrade (well side step) to it from her cbr125 or it will become my track bike. Baskerville Raceway is too tight and technical for my litre bike so I think I'd have heaps of fun on a 250

This is how it looked when I got it:

This is it now...

My wife has named it Wizz Fizz

do you mean where the mirrors sit? One side was snapped off so i cut the other side off.
Bike was a mess when i got it. It had a repsol kit with a blue tank so i just improved it a bit.

Just fitted a set of glass fire fairings. Have Yamaha stamped on em but can't imagine they are genuine. Only got them because they were already black.

I like this post, gives a good range of different paint styles. As I'm currently in the mood to respray my fzr250 and looking at others helps

here's my 89' 2kr. i won a t-shirt with this photo from the people at Kriega who make my bag. pic taken down on newcastle beach.

bike's been running very well for nearly a year now, despite only coughing up $1,200 for the bugger. so far the expenses have been a major service, new tyres and rego. and a little incident where the front brake locked up mid-ride due to dirt in the cylinder.

So I no longer have my fizzer, ended up getting a 1995 gsx750f for less than my fzr and it came with rego too! (fzr didn't). I still browsd these forums so i figured i'd post this. Dave: I almost got an sv650s instead but couldn't pass this up because of price.

The image did not work because it is link to a page, not a picture.
One of my mates has the 750. Seems to have plenty of go. I am sure you will enjoy it.
I have my SV650S for sale $6800 'cos I want to buy my son's SV1000..
