I'll have to see when I can get mine done and get an afternoon off work. Will hopefully get it done over the next few days.
I start work at 8 I can drop into the shopfront in fyshwick during my brake anyway so it's no big deal.
on my endeavor to discover a easier way to swap the ignition barrel from a ZXR to CBR.. Honda seems to have used a generic barrel which has pointless contacts then there is only 3 wires attached to the back...
set up a phone charger in the boot of the across, so for all them times i forget to charge the phone or out all day the mrs can still get a hold of me and i don't get into trouble later on when i get home.
Spoke to the insurance mob the other day they tried to low blow my $2100 and $500 buy back so $1600 in hand, I said fairs fair and that if I had my own insurance and went through them it would've been covered for atleast $3300 (this is what pricing i can find doing quotes etc) they're going to talk to the assessors and get back to me. I'm happy to pay $300 if they're gonna offer me $3000 XD I had a mate with a VR commo manual so rareish and when it was deemed a repairable write-off they offered him $3000 and $100 buy back. Will have to wait and see what their next offer will be.
synchronized the carbs on my mc22 track bike using nothing but my eyes and it was perfect!!.... then i tuned it using nothing but my ears!! such a healthy sounding engine!! no rattles.......... i also belted my 94' cibby through some twisties and may have hit limiter a few too many times.
still for sale mate, lots of interest on both bikes but no solid buyers...... and yeah i have found the Vfr worth working on finally, once the mc22's sell i can order some special parts
it's had headwork done and now has double-row valve springs with new stem seals... to a forum member i would sell it for $1400
ordered some mirrors from @XCite Bikes and ordered some Litetek seals from @maelstrom , I went for a decent ride Saturday night and my CBR has a flat spot at 12000prm, time for a spring clean and new seals and jets.
