just got my megelli se running with a new motor courtesy of sinh. much appreciated and his help was invaluable. factory issue and he dealt with them and finally a new motor arrived that has revised parts in it. hopefully will get fairing on and ride today. been missing the little beast. only 250 of the s e,s were sold so a little rare.
been out and a minor water leak. motor has improved gear ratio,s and was hand assembled.has more power and am running it in hard as instructed.gear shift feels more positive and clutch has better bite.acceleration feels to be improved. am a happy chappy.also fitted new michelin tyres that i got in the big buy up in melbourne. more cornering feel than the magsports.
water leak fixed with new hose clamp a oil leak fixed with teflon plumbers tape on sump plug and rtv silicon on tappet cover where rubber seal not doing a best job. fine weather tmr doing a circuit of lake macquarie.
