    Thanks Mark and Chris for the details on this bike. As a rule I don't take to mods that much, but this bike was very different and certainly caught my eye, wish my finances were different, would have lashed out for certain, love that bike.

    Grey, if it is 1985 its a B2, NOT a KR1s as they were a parallel twin like an RD Yamaha. Has low Kms and ok at that price if it ran and could hear engine. Have a spare green and white tank if you do decide to buy it. Mine is red and black A1 1984 model.

    If you want something to restore I have a 1967 Yamaha YDS5 that I need to get rid of.

    Have changed my mind and will restore the YDS5 and sell the KR250.

    They are a pretty good thing Grey. One of our VJMC members in town has one and he can keep the rest of us in sight on our monthly rides.
    Yamaha also made a 600cc version.
