He would have had to ship the bike from Melb to Syd and pay for 12 months rego.....also strange he hasnt listed all the "work done" from the PO
It was a good buy for under $2000 originally but he would need 3 to make any reasonable gain......and I cant see that happening on ebay.

I bet he hopped on the hot Fizzer and blew his Ls in the first week......or blew the motor........:crazypilot:

Ill message him and ask .....

    EDIT:

Mate I lost my old job witch I need te bike to get to and from and my new job requires me to have a van hence why it's for sale of love to keep it but I can't afford to other wise I would have her in the garage for Sundays

When is comes to 2 stroke Yam's, Im yet to meet anyone who knows more than Mark B... all I can say is RZ's are cool as and you will have heaps of fun rebuilding it, especially if you put the same effort into this one as you did the Fizzer :thumb_ups:

Looks like a bargain to me. Go for it.
Don't buy it to restore back to original. Buy it as a great sports tourer commuter all rounder bike to ride.
You will love that fairing - it is not original but it reminds me of one I fitted to my RDLC many years ago - I am sure you will like it better than a later genuine fairing.
Front wheel is a lighter one from the later model.
From the pics it looks like a country bike rather than coastal. This is great! You won't have corrosion everywhere.
The pipes don't look complete. But look at how cheap DG pipes are on ebay. $440 new delivered!
I would want to strip it down and replace crank seals and water pump seals and just have a good look around.
My guess is it doesn't go due to carby - fuel tank issue. You can see that the tank probably has been repaired for rust as this is a problem with these. So probably some has made it's way into the carby.
A couple of mods will make a big difference - Mike's XS fork valves are just over $50 and maybe also progressive springs.
Also, assume the brake callipers need cleaning and servicing - or just fit something else (ask me if you buy it and I will go into details then - doesn't have to be expensive).
In summary - a low price allows you spend a bit extra to get a great bike.

Thanx for all that info ...... !
I put in an interest offer a few days ago but sadly no response and it seems the ad has been pulled.
Could just be because Im presently using the net overseas ..... and gumtree told me thats a no go :headbang:

It was certainly going to be a good buy from what u guys have said and with a very low price! .... and as u say it was inland and looked to have been stored inside.

Im definately going to keep my eye out for something similar....

Dale selling the TZR is a decent guy. He looked after me well when I bought an engine from him and has helped me out at other times.
