with the fairings and tank 2 pak is the way to go as instant shine and petrol does not stain it.

sorry chris, but i didnt really swear. anyway it runs great. i have taken it on the road yet. still checking for leaks and what nots. as i have one that i found on the water pump. under pressure it leaks around the gasket. but wo far thats it. no visable oil leaks. it revs fantasticly, but very loud. as it hase one of thoes carbon fiber jobs. i think it sounds great but the other half doesnt. but i noticed that the end piece on the exhaust rattles around. is there a way to fix it without removeing all the pop rivets? and what happened to the picks of how thoes top fairing mounts join to the radiator? cheers.

just to let you all know my neigbour took the bike out for a run for me and said thatvit went great, so he said plus the grin from ear to ear all so showed us. as he is used to riding a big harley fat boy 1200cc i thinkor even a 1600cc not sure. all he said was that it was a bit slugish at first but the it went like a rocket. so possibly could do with a good tune on the carbs.

I hope he knows what "running in" a rebuilt engine entails.......sounds like he revved the crap out of it if it went like a "rocket"

he says he didnt. but you dont know. i did tell him that if he broke it he baught it. which i only think is fair. would you be able to help me im trying to work out how to attache the top inner guards to the bike. chris said that the brackets bolt up to the radiator mounts but i cant figure that out as when i look at doing that they sit on a funny angle and i cant fit anything to it. so could you please send me a couple of photos for referance please. cheers sav.
