rumour has it that motorsport importers has folded meaning dealers left in lurch and no support for buyers. the importers phone is disconnected and building empty.
the early air cooled ones had issues but the water cooled motors were much better. the latest model was suposed to be the best.they look pretty but lacking in poer and performance. fuel economy was excellent.exhaust gave a nice sound.
If only all good looking and sounding bikes were reliable and safe to ride, the world would be a better place!
I agree. Here in south america we are like orphans children about the service and all the sales point wash his hands when comes the problems. That situation move us to fix the problems whitout help of the importers. Thats sad, but if you have a skilled mechanic, you you can fix any issue.
I've heard Megelli importer didn't close down, but relocated. Don't have the new address, but just heard about it yesterday.
HHmmm, I have heard they are receivership and that all the stock has been seized , catalogued and that the appointed receiver are trying to find a buying for the remaining stock and import rights for the Megelli brand, ie they are trying to sell it as a viable business. I have also heard that dealers are faxing \ e-mailling in purchase orders for stock which are not being responded to.
trustee is in and some dealers owed for warranty work. that came from a dealer. stuff has been packed and new bikes taken away.trustee hopes to sell business with adr import approval.staff also not paid.watch the auctions because risky will be there to buy spare parts to resell.
that is interesting.sinh ,i believe, was not paid so may have taken parts in lieu.i discussed this proposal with him.
I purchased some megelli parts from these guys back in February this year. They were in the process of moving shop back then.
