So I may of impulse bought some more parts.......
WP_20140507_002.jpg I picked up this half a C model for $80. It has the radiator full engine, tank, frame, subframe, carbs and air box. Most fairing mounts look to be there. Who can tell me what is interchangeable between A and C models? I can tell from some threads that the engines and timing are different.

how can i start this motor to see the state of it? i have a loom there but it is hacked up.

SPEWIN Just did a VIN check and its written off..... :( oh well no tyga kit LOL, maybe a tyga tail since now have a C model tank and subframe ;)

In my quest to catch up to Greyimport for amount of carbs not currently fuelling a bike here is the set from the new purchase:
    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
Some definite nastiness :( I have deduced this bike was lying on its side in the weather for awhile as there is a mix of fuel, oil and water sludge in here. So not sure of the state of the motor (the combustion chamber for #3 is full of rusty sludge).

Oh well other then that these carbs look in ok shape. I have always wanted to have ago at rebuilding an engine ;)

cost more for a night at the pub than it did for all that gear, not too bad if it can be salvaged.

Agreed mate, I didn't NEED it but couldn't pass up the bargain, when the tank is worth $100 plus alone I am pretty happy with the buy :) the carbs + subframe + headers will help out the other bike so was a win.

Had to laugh or perhaps chuckle a little when saw those carbs. Probably 12 to 18 months ago I drove down to the Northern rivers to collect a zxr250. Bike was complete and exterior appearance was spot on. Got it back to Chris's place and we started checking it over. Pulled the carbs off and started stripping them down. Took the bowl off the 1st one and it was full of stinking cream cheese, I actually had to spoon the crap out and it took me forever to get them sorted, I did manage in the end to get them sorted. To this day I have never seen anything as gross, the content look very similar to yours Tyson, hence my chuckle. Good luck amigo.:thumb_ups:

definitely a win, especially if there isn't anything mechanically wrong with any of it. Running motor plus spares for 80 bucks, yes please.

You know I cant bloody remember when I did all that to mine ...if I did the floats as well ...?

I havnt got 3 spare hours to search the "My Fizzer" epic :lolsign:

Just pull off every that isnt metal ?.... vinegar is slightly acidic thats why it works well overnight.

    http://www.vinegartips.com/scripts/pageViewSec.asp?id=7

White Vinegar. White vinegar is good to remove stains from plastic. Use a sponge or cloth to rub some white vinegar into the stain, rinse then wash as usual. If needed, you can soak the item in a half and half vinegar and water mixture overnight to remove stains from plastic.

i dont imagine the seals would be in too good of shape anyway, vinegar is probably the least of their worries.

Actually I'm not to sure about that... Apparently this thing only had 10,000 on the speedo..... Although the years parked up probably haven't been too kind haha
