How to bleed front brake

    Thanks heaps grey there's a few steps the manual didn't mention so if the ziptye trick dosent work I'll rebleed thanks everyone for you help

    And if you spill some fluid DON'T be tempted to wipe it off the paint, always flush with water.

    Hi guys update for ya still no go so I pulled of both calipers and strip them down one seal for top piston had pop out so cheked and puled them apart andput back on bleed them tomorow beer frige is calling keep you posted

    yeah, sucks big time having a lazy brake piston - promotes uneven wear on the pads :(

    if the seal had popped then air had to get in.

    Mate, sorry to hear about that. I felt certain that the seal was the culprit. All I can think is perhaps the master cylinder is the problem. Had an issue with my X7 some years back, took the master cylinder to a brake guy here on the Sunshine coast, problem fixed. Keep us posted.

    Bloody fixed it 10 slow pumps with the cap on bleed cap of five slow pumps pop unstuck piston bleed the lines spot on brakes 85 an hour in my pockit thanks everybody for your help and council this is the best site community cheers. got a bottle of jacks to celibraite and ill have drink for all motoGP:drinks::D:D:D:D:D

    so what do you consider the main problem why the bleeding did not work earlier?

    I was bleeding the caliper not the line risky :lolsign:. Just got back from brighton and the beast runs WICKED with the new jets in full throttle responce no probs at high speed and i can STOP bring on the sunny days. ps the new forks handle sweet cheers.
