    That much RPM, and I should run regular?! I have 91 (RON 98 I guess) in it right now. It's E10, which is pretty inescapable here. Video running tomorrow! It was late, my neighbors had already been exceedingly tolerant of the 40 minutes of starter whirring. I figured firing it up was a bad idea at the time.

    If you can't get regular unleaded without ethanol, the next octane rating available without ethanol should do :)

    Ahoy welcome, nice choice of rides you have there & a local Kawasaki dealer as excited as you are to see the bike wow, if only Kwacka were like that here, keep us all updated how the bikes going

    Yeah i'm lucky. I live like a mile from what i'm pretty sure is the oldest Kawi dealer in my state, and they're all motorsports guys.

    Running over there now matter of fact, I need a fuel filter since the bike wouldn't run with the one installed last night. hitting a hard wall at 14k rpm, but it runs real smooth, so I think i need to reset the carbs to factory settings tonight and make sure i'm not going hella lean. Something's screwy, but surmountable.
