Ok its bad english - turn bars to the right to go left - on a bike you always turn the bars in the opposite way to what you want to go (i.e. continually countersteering). The only exception is when you shift your weight to steer, like riding a pushbike with no hands. I will edit post to reflect your interpretation. Thanks.

yeah your correct. the way i read it dave meant you turn the bars so the wheel goes clockwise which would be pushng the left handle foreward. ie push left go left..

It's funny that a lot of people ride bikes but don't understand how they get around the corners.

Some folks push on the bars and some pull, but most do both. I'm more a puller than a pusher.

Just no way around it, I know, but I have to offer up some fun every now and again.

Seriously, really think about it while you are riding.

Take your left hand off the bar before going into a gentle right and then same thing going into a left. Switch it up now by taking you right hand off, (do it with the clutch pulled in so there is no engine braking.)

Hey guys I have just written up a new topic in the technical section. I'm having trouble with my indicator switch/button. If you have got any useful info please put something in <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
