Good to see entry numbers for Junior Drag Bike are on the up. Decent ET's too! Not sure I could ever run at 8.71 1/8 mile pass! Maybe if I threw @Linkin on my bike, he might come close.

Lillian Hagan ran even quicker to remain number 1 in the qualifying order. 8.66 @ 77.65mph. She runs a stock standard R3 with a quick shifter (which she says makes no difference to her ET's) and runs 1.9 second 60ft times. She weighs 45kg

I think the weight is the contributing factory. Us old blokes are double her weight at least.

    RIP Lizzy Musi

Few outside of drag racing would know the name Pat Muzzi. Probably less would know of his daughter, Lizzy. I won't go into too much on here, but she was one hell of a racer. I first saw her on a 'Street Outlaws' episode years ago where she and her husband of the time raced their own cars. She won more than she lost. Some people unfarely claimed it was her father's powerplants, but she drove hard and whacked the wall on a few occasions. Life is a bit of a lottery and, unfortunately, Lizzy's number came up.

    Junior Drag Bike Australia

This might be the quickest run by an A/JDB in Australia. Lillian Hagan on her Yamaha R3. I've yet to see any of the young one's run an 80mph 1/8 mile speed. I wonder who will be first to do it? Their (lack of) weight certainly helps them run quick ET's, but you really need power to push you through the air even over an 1/8 mile. A lowered R3 is certainly pretty 'slippery' and covering the 1/8 in 8.6 seconds should have a reasonably good MPH, but their you go. These Junior Dragster bikes might be geared very low, so that might explain it.

WSID had a 'Bike Night' recently. Entries were capped at 200 and they had a full house. I will have to try and get there for one of these soon. It might be a good opportunity for @Linkin and some of the other Sydney-based forum members to have a run too.
