Fairings

More research required i guess, but it'd only be a matter of getting a decent photo of a stripped 3LN-1 to see if the mount points match. Might be a decent conversion kit in the works if only the damned 3LN-3 headlights weren't $400!!!

That said, i'd been tinkering with the idea of making up a custom twin projector set to fit in behind some plexi - as long as the projectors are ADR approved then i can't see anything wrong with it.

 

Do you meen a set of projectors inside the twins on a 3ln1 thats cool.

 

fibreglass kit...? any update??

i think i heard mention of someone doing a fibreglass kit for the FZR250...?

If the fairings are plastic, and aren't completely messed up - i'd recommend contacting TBone on here with a photo of them front and back and seeing if he reckons their plastic weld-able. It'll probably be quite a bit cheaper than replacement fibreglass pieces, but you will have to do a bit of elbow work yourself.

What is this I hear about Fairings??

Ok I can plastic weld just about any FZR250... though I will have moulds for the 3LN in a week or less which will allow me to make MAJOR repairs...

Also I will have fiberglass sides for sale... Hmmm forum special $230 each

And to make things sweet I will have repaired (fixed, boged, sanded and primed) set of plastic ones... ready for painting for $250 each...

Also if any one has a good top for the FZR250 3LN-3 that I can borrow?? I would appriciate it... (I have acces to a 3LN-1 but who wants one??)
