Hey guys anyone in perth have an OEM muffler for an MC22 they would like to get rid of for a nice price (read cheaply ) I have a shorty carbon and as good as it sounds and looks even better its just soo loud.
Iv seen the ones on ebay. Look like a tube you stick in the muffle with holes in? I wasnt sure they would work much, guess theybare cheap enough to try. Just thought the honda engineers would of worked hard to get it pretty good in the first place so go back with that.
what about these ? ...or is thats wats already on it? http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/mufflers-for-250cc.1453/
get a daishin exhaust... i tell people its got a big shinny DIC exhaust... always gets laugh.. and they sound mint..
Try Musarri by screaming demon - they come with a baffle insert and are relatively cheap (you can also get an orange one to match colour scheme) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Honda-CB...orcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35da50b34b http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Honda-CB...orcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35da50b34e SD is based in perth as well so you won't be waiting ages for postage
Another standard looking one from our friend @xcitebikes http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Steel-Ex...orcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35cdf671c9
I would recommend checking a local muffler/exhaust shop if they have a baffle what would fit on this muffler. It's a straight through muffler, so there is room for a baffle, which you would have to bolt on the muffler somehow. Or keep searching for a OEM, which will be the quietest option. Yes @GreyImport, I'm afraid that's what already installed. @Linkin, the 420mm pipe is a bit less noisy that the 300mm already installed. But if he finds the 300mm too loud, the 420mm will be loud as well.
