Cam chain breakers - What brands/models do others use? I had a chinese fleabay kit but the poor metal quality caused problems (pin kept bending under load). Interested in getting a good quality tool, most of fleabay looks questionable or comparable to what I had.

EMGO kit from MCAS a few years ago... was $75. After breaking one set of pins I realised that they shouldn't extend so far out of the hollow end where you drive them, so I bought the kit again recently

Don't know why that didn't come into my search results. Sold on that one for sure.

This is the Motion Pro chain breaker/riveter kit $114 inc post for the US
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Motion-P...449438?hash=item1ec8b6e99e:g:wAoAAOSwjL5ZNTAU

It look's similar to that T Rex breaker/joiner but with a couple of extra piece's,
you can buy replacement pin's for about $15 too
It mention's it's only for riveting hollow nose pin's
I've had a Motion Pro flywheel tool for 10 year's and used it a heap of time's, it still look's like new

This one look's like the T Rex one ^ but only $39.99

We should do up a "how to" on cam chain replacement. Anyone? If I had the tool I would.

Got the "T-Rex". Looks solid, comes with a reasonable manual/explanation as well (http://bit.ly/trx0008 for anyone interested). Should work well.
