Hoping to convert the 250 back to original style to do some historic racing next year So some new 2fifftycc stickers will be needed and some fellow members to come cheer on when I make it ur way that's all we ask for the more spectators the better we race!!!
So a brief report on today!!! Temp was good so I was pumped for first race a 10 lapper was dicing with Ray until lap 6/7 when my chain snapped and sent me off at turn 4 kept it upright Got to pit new chain on and every race was a replay of me getting Gary into turn 1 and him taking me back at 4 and me chasing to finish behind!!!! In last 250 race a few didn't grid which gave me clear air to get to 4th in class I held Gary off till lap 5 of 7 where it got the better of me and I finish 5th (best results for sdrrs this year) want to big thanks to officials marshals and volunteers!!! Friends and family for coming out to support and help and Wayne reed form Osella Photographics for soon to be best photos yet!!! And to everyone following me!!! Also to pete(67) for the lend of the radiator so my weekend wasn't ruined I owe a lot of beers will be posted back tomorrow and to my sponsors Motorcycle MAD Mechanical & Dyno C.L. Kitchens & Cabinetry Kevlar Electrical Pty Ltd For the awesome support this year I hope I did you proud and looking forward to 2016 couldn't do it without you!!! Will post overall finish when I work it out but think I got 11th was hoping for 10th or better but learnt a lot in my first year of racing ✊
Yer mate had 3 dnf over season which cost me Brendan (368) pretty much battled all year was super consistent and had no dnf that made all the difference
Just did maths and mate who unfortunately had both bikes break down and lent me the radiator I just beat him by 2 points to get 10th overall
Also would like to thank the forum for all the help with tech problems I recommend this site to all the racers and road riders Also @Nathan Oliver for heading out on Sunday with his partner to watch the racing really does make it better knowing people are there to watch you race sorry if I wasn't most talkative at times but enjoyed the chats between racing
Rd5 sdrrs!!! First year of racing and body position has improved a lot!!! Hard to get solo shots know as the 250 grid is so close!!! Credit to Wayne from osella photographics for the best photos yet Hope u guys enjoy!!!
