I have been showing interest in a Lucky Strike RGV and trying to find reasons not to buy it, but looking at this it really wets my appetite ! Might make an enquiry call today !!!
Good luck with it. Best to pay a bit extra for a good unit because they can cost a lot to get into good condition, not cosmetic but mechanical. They are packed with wires & cables & gizmo's that all run oil pumps & power valves & carbies, they aren't a simple 2 stroke but with patience & a good place to work then they are doable. We spent a bomb on ours, I haven't added it up & I won't but at a guess about $7 to 8k + the $2500 we paid for it & we didn't get the Tyga tripple clamps, didn't change the rear shock & there's a ECU upgrade we passed on, all those would add another $2k to the list. We kept it sensible & cleaned up everything back to new & re used it, after it's all OEM stuff, but we think we put the money where it counts & ended up with a good looking reliable unit & up on stock power. Maybe after a bit of use we'll do those other upgrades, unless my wife reads this & then it'll be sold in the settlement !
