Hi everyone, bought myself an '89 FZR 250 and am looking for any manuals (English) or any assembly instruction, pictures etc that will help me bring the old girl back to life. I have everything there plus extra's apparently plus some new parts (headset bearings, wheel bearings) so the guy was obviously going to try the rebuild thing himself. Any help would be invaluable as its my first time at trying a complete rebuild of a road bike. Thanks guys, all the best,

I was going to post earlier but my browser crashed. Is the engine disassembled? If so, consider replacing all the bearings, seals, clutch plates and cam chain

Thanks for everyone's help. You're a good bunch and I look forward to the chats and hopefully one day a ride with some of you. What's happened so far ? I got the frame painted black and have cleaned some parts ready to go on. Got progressive fork springs, putting them in today, the motor is intact and apparently good, the carbies have been serviced and wrapped up until I can source new rubber boots. I've got two sets of wheels, one set no tyres, so I'll clean them up and paint. That's about it so far, I'll try and get some pics going but I'm not yet familiar with how the site works and what I have to do,but bare with me, I'll get with it soon. Thanks again all. C ya soon

Best way with pics is to resize them to a decent size (I do 1000x750 or 800x600) and upload them to imgur

Forums etc. use BBCode so just copy the BBCode links and paste them for each image.

Otherwise you can copy image location/url and insert them using [ img ] [/ img] tags (no spaces)

Just click on the upload a file button in your reply box and make sure they are around something like 200KB in file size
resize in windows paint if they are too big

Hey guys, looked up the frame numbers and of the two frames I have, both are 3HX1, so does that mean I buy 2KR parts ?

Are they skinny steel frames or thicker aluminium frames with "deltabox" stickers?
