I love what you've done with the triple clamp, and the paint! Great work. Haven't seen the block yet what nick is it in? If you need anything I've just finished so happy to help
Hey im just using the original pegs not going for anything special trying to keep it minimal on cost and the look.
hey thanks for the post. Its in good condition i havent got any photos as of yet just waiting to get it back from being rebuilt then im going to paint it gloss black and file the fins. But ill definetly take some photos when i can.
Got a couple of pics of the mount i had made to attach to the triple tree from the old ignition mounts. Came out tidy and will keep it minimal on the tree
Today i got my triple tree back from being welded and i attached my bracket i had made and it lines up beautifully. Also does anyone know of a service manual online for free for the gsx? Or do i bite the bullet and buy a haynes copy

Brilliant! Thanks for that i feel like maybe its time to buy a few more 250s for all the service manuals i have access too!
Wrapped my pipes today in black, omg i am so itchy. As a painter you would probably thing id know how itchy fibreglass is! Ive decided to order indicators for my bike after deciding its safer on SA roads.
Soaking the heat wrap in water before wrapping helps the itchiness. Also makes the wraps tighter as it dries.
thats good to know for my next time! The box says to do it dry but first time experience ill keep in mind.
Hey guys ive just started a page up for my motorcycle painting if you go om facebook and search Moto Chop Shop it should come up! Ill be uploading more frequent photos of my build and other bikes that im doing
Heres my frame after its been blasted. Can see the seat hoop and modifications through the centre where the seat is looking very tidy ready to be powder coated in gloss black
So alots been happening over the last few days. Ive got my frame back ands its looking great. Ive got myself an issue. Im not sure i like the colour of my tank. Im thinking of doing it plain white maybe in satin. Opinions would be appreciated what colour would look the best. Heres a shot of its current status
I think you're onto something....black frame coupled with a white tank would be a stand out feature Mind you the tank looks good but perhaps is a tad sombre, whatever you do will be great.
