Thanks Brooke! The tank is actually off a GS450 (same tank as the gsx250) but has different badges. I hand painted these ones :)

So I got a Roadworthy Certificate today and got the little GSX registered this afternoon. After a last check over I took her out on her maiden voyage!

Before I get onto my First Ride Impressions let me just say I have ordered two new mufflers as the ones that are on it are veeery loud!

    First Ride Impressions:
Firstly, it is very very light and very maneuverable. It is a little stiff but the rear suspension is all new so that is to be expected and I can always adjust it.
It turns in fast and feels very planted on the road (new tyres)
It is quick off the mark but it is only a 250 twin. Get it above 6000rpm and she gets going a bit.
THE BRAKES ARE AMAZING! New pads and shoes, this little thing stops very quickly and smoothly.
I need to fix a couple of little oil leaks and fix the fuel petcock. Other than that it was great :)

Lastly, she is for sale :) or Swap.
I bought it with the intention of building it and then upgrading to something else :) It's not my first bike, but was something I wanted to build for a little while and now I'm finished I'd love to see it go to someone who will appreciate the hard work I've put in :)
I'll be looking at $3.5k or swapsies :)
I'm In Ipswich QLD, near Brisbane.
    Has 6 months rego etc

Ok so after a little bit of fiddling and tuning i've got her running beautifully! Starts first go, pulls from the bottom to the top of the rev range without any hesitation. it by no means is quick but i've ridden slower bikes ha ha. It's so light, it handles really well, but I'd give my left testicle for some wider rubber :) turns a lot of heads, I spend more time talking to people on the street about the bike, than I do riding it!

That is one great looking GSX! But according to my own experience, this bike (well, my bike at least) feels quite unstable, when the speed is anything over like 60km/h. Just by chance, I found that the bag on the tank (look at my avatar) makes the bike so much more stable. I haven't even figured out what it is exactly, the added weight or does the bag act like a windshield or something, but I swear by it.
