So rd4 of the sdrrs has been and done and well big weekend it was!!!
Qualifying went well lapping with .5 sec of my pb to sit in 11th in both classes 250 and formula 4!!
First 2 races were 10 laps on sat and and my pbs were dropping so was everyone hitting a 1:32. By the end of the day I was buggered and need a good rest for the 6 races on Sunday!
So Sunday came and the first f4 race was cracker passing and tight group as we all have improved and are bunching up!! Next 250 race was good and bad I had avg start and found myself behind Brenden I felt stronger and faster in most corners and had to push to pass him so on the straight I got between the barrier and Brenden and took the pass into turn1 (he is getting harder to pass now) pushed for the next lap to catch the like of lynch and Gary in front but pushed to hard and on turn 2 next lap I lost the rear thought I had saved it and then got bucked on 2nd attempt sending me over the bike got up tried to continue but my on/off switch had came over and left me watching the guys race from the tyre wall!!! Some running repairs and got back out and raced the rest of weekend back in to the 33's straight away which I'm happy with considering my off!!! So rd5 will be about pbs and getting right for next year as the way points are 11th is best I could hope for disappointed with few dnf this year but I'm pushing and have come away unhurt so onwards and upwards!!!
Thanks to people like mark Peter and my dad for helping me with repairs, all officials volunteers and flaggies, family and friends for coming out and trista for all her hard work!! Wayne at Osella Photographics for the top knotch snaps And of course my biggest supporters
