Removed the punctured rear so I can go get it replaced, and took the clutch slave cylinder off for a clean and low and behold plenty of corrosion in there, might help the dragging clutch that I haven't quite remedied!
Hoping so @risky. Not much left to do now for rego except fit some exhaust gaskets before the inspection.
Took forks off other day and took to mechanic as they pitted abit so getting re chromed and new seals and etc
Manilla pub looks like a decent place to stop for a rest. for me lately it's just a trip to and from work. off out Ipswich way tomorrow but I'm overdue for a good long ride
Rode Nix to the RTA office this morning before work. Organised a day permit for rego inspection on Monday for Scarlet. Picking up rear brake shoes on my lunch break to make sure she passes first go!
I replaced the blown tyre, con at Brisbane motorcycle tyres was good especially considering I could only sneak in 5 minutes before he closed! Then cleaned and sound checked both my bikes for their first outing together I also took my bag rack off as I think I will need the help keeping up with the 250 in the bends @Tim_ , if any Brisbanites are up for a ride we are going to meet up at BP Yatala at about 9am Cheers
fuelled up bruiser the cruiser ready for tamworth and gave the rack another coat of black.6 nites to go and tamworth will be it. have a lemon squash with the old grey and young murdo,hope to meet grasshopper and linkin and show tech head fred some countryside on the way.started to pack the bag------now where are those pj,s?
Replaced Scarlet's rear brake shoes, swapped the stator cover and associated gasket, replaced the exhaust gaskets and gave her a good polish. Pics once I've blogged it all. She's still stalling though, will have to keep troubleshooting tomorrow...

Rode Scarlet to work on the UVP. Got a rego inspection on my lunch break and she passed first go, so I'm off to the RTA tomorrow morning for a plate and registration! Will see if I can get some progress pics up tonight
