Did you try heat on the bolt in case it had loctite on the thread's ? Even these little propane torch's will do the job http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/SCA-Gas-Torch-Pencil-Butane/286613
Are u doubting the ability of an FZR250 engine ? ..... smaller rider these days will help with power plus some little experiments with intake and exhaust ... and plus Im saving up for the biggest pod filters I can find so @Murdo and @maelstrom can help me tune it plus theres 101 3LN engines lying around here in various stages of complete to in pieces
I see you didn't mention the 3LN carburettors, @Murdo will love the pod filters and @maelstrom will supply some big jets to make some big horsepower gains
Huge pods should go well on the 4 FCR's with long trumpets. Dunno where your going to sit with all the big aircleaners taking up the seat area.
Once you have done all that ,’it could be worth $10000 , never know your luck with a classic like that
Yup .... got the grinder out ready Actually would a wider tyre on the rear be beneficial going in a straight line only as opposed to cornering, on this bike ? only 1 of 1 made ..... I posted an image of that $200 FZR and said here mate .... he pulled his ad straight away Some 'apprentice' left over stock on the shelves ... very handy ... ... and the sticker will make it go faster
No, the stock tyre will be fine. Big wide tyres may look cool but they sap HP to drive them and increase rolling resistance.
