Ok, the FZR250 throttle's are 1/4 turn standard, at least on my 3LN3 it is.
Your's are definately a win on the bling side of thing's though

Is the bling one a push / pull throttle tube?

It look's like it is for a push pull throttle, there's a position at the top and the bottom for the cable's.
It may need an adjustable end to screw into the housing so you can fit your original cable's though ?

To convert your throttle to a quicker action you need to have the area where the cable run's further out from the bar's
This pic show's the difference between an FZ throttle tube (1/4 turn)on the left and an R6 throttle tube (1/6 turn) on the right
Fitting the R6 throttle tube bring's on the throttle quicker with less movement of the throttle

    That's his main goal.

By the way, it's coming along nicely chief. I'll pop over Thursday for a look if you're home. Once your bike is running, all we need is to find someone who has a GSXR250 so we have the full compliment of I4/250cc at the drags...@kiffsta?

Look's like it's around a 1/6 turn throttle, so might be slightly quicker than the original one
The adjustment bolt take's up any slack, it provide's a positive stop so it doesn't stretch your cable's at full throttle

This pic show's how much the R6 tube move's compared to an FZ 1/4 turn throttle tube

Going to have to do this to my ZXR, feels like a half turn throttle! Problem is that its integrated into the switchblock, don't know if a larger diameter cam on the tube will fit the switchblock

thats a universal throttle, so you can set it up for push pull or just pull, the extra holes are so you don't have too cut/extend the cable due to difference in the handles pulleys circumference...you will have to compare the size of the pulley with the stock one to see if there is any size difference. bigger faster...smaller slower...The screw depending on where it makes contact can be a stop (as above) or cruise set screw.....

Just do the PVC tube throttle mod then, find a bit of pvc pipe that's pretty close, then cut it to shape and glue it to your original tube

There not much room in there...options is to cut the throttle part of the switch block, or as I did find a thin modern switch block..other wise your brake lever going to be to far up the bars..it will still work just doesn't feel right :)

If it is going to be Mardi Gras it has to be rainbow colors. I still think Hammertone Flyer personally

I too had a chance to see the flyer while I was in Tamworth recently. Looks great. Should make a fine addition to the Tamworth 2fiftycc drag (racing) team. I thought I'd seen some of the Hammertone bling cues on another bike and I just found a pic of it. Lots of red bits and custom clip-ons.
