Sorry, I was wrong .... I looked yesterday at mine and it is there as well.
You don't need OEM o-rings. You can take the old ones and bring them to a supplier. Just make sure you tell them the material needs to be gas/oil...
What you are talking about is the crankcase tolerance marking ... it's not a an engine serial number. At least on mine 3LN.
FZR's are known to be pretty rough, not the smoothest bunch for sure. FZR250 and FZR400s as well.
You say seems ... how confident are you? LOL ..... I know racers here who out of desperation try to ignore the bolts to only find oil leaks ........
