(Sorry if this post should have gone elsewhere; I couldn't work out a better place :)

So, I finally got one of my mates to come and shadow me after my wife cunningly convinced his wife that we should all picnic at Ellis Brook (Perth). The wives and kids drove and he and I rode and met them after we went for a ride.
My total motorbike experience is now a 2 hour lesson on the instructors CB250 and now I've had some time on my bike. I have to say I'm quite surprised that I could have any opinion either way with only a few hours riding but I would really much rather my ZZR than the CB250.
I know these things are always going to be a personal choice but I'm much more comfortable on the ZZR, and much more confident, and much happier to push my own limits on the ZZR. They are both very forgiving of my crap riding but, given a choice, I'd choose mine any day :)
Now, how can I convince him to come back so I can go ride some more? :)[IMG]

    Good stuff :thumb_ups:

I think you will have alot of fun on the ZZR ..... once your confidence builds u will be out and about on your own without giving it a second thought.

Welcome to the forum, glad your enjoying your new ride. ZZR250 are a great bike and truth be told a very stable platform.
WA has so much to offer a bike rider.........feeling certain you'll be blazing a path in the hills very soon.
