I was looking at the TYGA rear seat cowl for my C model, but they're the wrong shape.
Is there any way I can get one for the original fairings?

Maybe get your hands on another rear seat and strip it and use the base and fibreglass it.

I've got two sets of seats. Would it be worth doing?

Should have mentioned that lol. Would polystyrene work? Carve it into the shape you want and fibreglass over it?

Yep, that would work fine. You could also use expanda foam in a can available from your local hardware store but be aware..... it does exactly what it's name implies, it EXPANDS big time. Once applied get an electric carving knife and trim to suit........ you then are ready for glassing.
So you have a few options open to you............... Good luck!!

Looks like I have a little project ahead of me! Thanks boys.

Cheaper rego for a 1 seater motorcycle, so it's cheaper. I'll definitely post photos once I get started :thumb_ups:

high density foam, fill holes with bog after shaping, 2 pak over, wax and make a mould with tooling gelcoat, rein and glass. wax 10 times and voila a cover and a mould to make money from./time consuming but not expensive.

Hi, just picking this up.. Anyone tried fitting a zxr400 race tail unit and changing the mounting points ? Or does it look too wide/ bulky on the 250?

There's shed loads of them on eBay so might be worth a punt. Hmm..or TZR even !
