Hello Everybody, I just bought some new tires and have embarrassingly lost the front wheel right side spacer. I believe the diameter of the axle is 20mm. In an effort to get it on the road before Christmas I saw in one of the threads that I could possibly use 25mm x 3mm ali tube. It seems to me that the inside diameter on that might be slightly less than 20mm, if anyone's done this was it too much of a press fit? Did you have to take some out of the inside? Also it's a bugger to get the verniers in there for an accurate reading - anyone know the standard width of the spacer? Cheers, Simon
Are you in Melbourne? If you are Global Motorcycles in Dandenong have a ZXR250 of which there is not much left of, but both wheels are on the bike so they might sell you the spacer.
Just a note to close this thread. I was reading a pdf for a completely different motorocycle. It must have been getting a bit late. A ZXR250C front wheel spacer is like a long weight or a sky hook. It doesnt exist. Don't phone up wreckers and ask for one, it will only annoy them Don't spanner tired (or drunk)
