Help ZXR250 valve clearance

    Hey guys, Need some info in relation to valve clerances on the ZXR250's. just had the carbs reco'd but still has a bit of feed back through the carbs. hoping its not a poor cam chain :/

    cam chain will be really loud if its stretched, check the valve clearances which is really straight forward.

    by feedback what do you mean, some mist coming out the carbs?

    Worded that wrong I mean that with it running if I hold my had above the carb I can feel a bit of back pressure. Do you know what the specs for the valve clerance are?

    .15-.25 intake .19-.29 exhuast

    the back pressure is normal if the airbox is off, its to do with the way the airbox circulates the air within itself.

    1937 Royal Enfield 250, CF Moto 250 V5, Honda's XL250, CBR250, FT500 plus a few others.
    Put the airbox back on, it will run better.
