Well I don't wanna sound like I'm whinging... But on a recent ride to Victor harbour with a mate and his steed, cbr250rr, I could not help but stare at his unusually large pillion seat storage compartment..

It was by no means comparable to the mighty Suzuki across, but rather just a modest 2 cans of beer and ice (this was actually done)

Now don't get me wrong as I love that little nook on my zxr, but it barely holds my phone and wallet, and upon seeing my friends storage, I think I'm gonna try and enlarge it.

Either side of the compartment there is oodles of wasted space, albeit harrowed by the ill situated subframe but I'm sure you could get something to work. Also there does seem to be room to move down, just not too much so that it will get hit by the rear mud guard over bumps.

This idea does mean butchering my original under carriage plastic but I think it'd be worth it.

So far, I've thought of a container of some sort, preferably with a lip, cut a hole the same size in the plastic and slot the container in, using the lip to stop it falling out.

Not sure if it's worth it, or if u should neck up and just rep a bag everywhere..

    It would be handy though..

if the inner guard is ABS plastic have it plastic welded and look for a broken bumper to fit as most disposable containers are degradable plastic.if a tite fit the welder can just run the weld around and as out of sight will not need to be perfecto.
