    HI All,
New member. Just bought ZXR250 C to go racing. I am keen to find a race prep manual if any has ever seen one. I do have them for some other bikes i have previously owned and am hoping one exists (in English preferably) for this little ripper of a bike.

    Also have a 1978 Z1R and 2001 ZX6-R.

    Cheers

Cheers. There is definitely some handy info there.
IS there a particular brand of shift light indicator? Is there a gear indicator also? I am looking at cheap one off eBay otherwise.

Cheers Kiffsta. They look nice and will very handy.

Yeah I will probably get the gear indicator off eBay

This one here looks like it will do the job

I expect to be posting a photo gallery of the race prep. Its the first bike i have prepped myself so I expect a few clangers. Would be keen to hear feedback/suggestions and appreciate those already provided.

Sounds good ... theres a few racers on here that might jump in with some help also

Heres a site about a ZXR for racing but I think its pretty basic (strip down/clean up/reassemble) and looks like it hasnt been updated for awhile and I dont remember seeing anything very technical in the race prep side of things ..... I think the carby strip down guide is ok though.

Just took a look at that strip down.. Glad my bike looks in waaaay better condition than that one from the get go.

Her engine looks like it was sitting ion a paddock for a few years.
