    Hey there,

Is there a safety switch or something that limits the bike to revving at 16k, and when put in gear regardless of how high your revs are, when you release the clutch it dies instantly? Bike is warmed up and was running fine until we took the brakes off to change the brake lines.

Sounds like a side stand switch issue.

Is there a way I can bypass it? Or do you know what I'm looking for?

The side stand when up should depress a little switch I would check the wiring and switch.

There is none there. There was originally a wire hanging and we didn't know what it was for. Assuming now it was what was connected to the switch / replaced the switch. Its a brain teaser because everything was working until now, and it was never touched :(. Ill do some playing around and see what happens

@Th3_Huntsman again you were very helpful! The switch has been taken off my bike and bypassed, but the cables had come apart. Put them back together snugly and its running like a charm! I just took it for its first 15min ride and its loving it :). Time to get new wheels and it will be ready to be registered.

No worries. Pleasure to be of service. If you like I can try and find a switch. As it's not very safe to ride around with a bypass. On the odd chance you leave your stand down it will cause an accident. @kiffsta might have one
