Hey Guys embarked today swaping a C model engine and wiring loom into A model frame.

I now have no spark i believe it could be the CDI

It does crank no blown fuses and all lights are working.

Any ideas or does any body have a picture of a c model wiring loom ? espcially around the actually engine connection to loom as I had to partially rewiring because of previous owner.

    Major thanks in advance!

Brought over engine, loom, cdi, rhs switch block as the left one seam the same.

Left A model coils and spark plug leads pickup coil(i think its call) the one that has main fues and grounds to engine and positive to starter.
Also left A model voltage regulator, and the small relay box near coils and voltage reg(looks like a indicator relay but isn't)

    What I have tried.
Swapped the voltage reg, check fuses, change little relay thing.

Now I have had this engine running in C frame. But I am suspect still of cdi as the box does come a part and it does look as though there is corrosion/flux on resistors.
One the I have noticed is the is a random wire(yellow) not connect that comes from junction(fuse)box, and I can't trace back to where it should be.

Hook the c model gauges up and check your earth strap on the motor

from the memory the coils in the A model are upside down in comparison to a C model, have you got the wiring to the coils right ?
