    Thanks .. sorry checked the manual again it says rest the level gauge stopper on the outer tube. So its the outer tube : )

    Thanks all.. finished changing the oil yeaterday.. rode today.. feels much better.

    Was just having a look at the fork spring service limit it only takes about 4 mm !! Didnt realiase 4 mm made that much of a difference.
    My springs were 222 i think.

    Was setting sag at the front and.basically from 6 lines showing on the adjuster to zero lines showing it didnt make any difference to the sag ..it remained the same. Could it be due to my springs being close to the service limit?

    You need a fork rebuild I reckon :(
