I need that plastic part for the dash that holds the dials in, mine is cracked and I need a new one for a RWC. Anyone got one that they can sell me, how much am I looking at paying for one? Thanks guys.
where is it cracked, and how severly? My dash had cracked on the points where the bolts hold it to the frame. I was able to fix this by loc-tite'ing proper size washers below where the plastic has cracked, and after that all was fine. The RWC shouldn't care about cosmetics, provided it is not going to fall off. So if you do something similar I can't see there being problems... (but then again, I am not the RWC guys...) If they are going to be really stingy about it I would consider going to another RWC place for it! (where have you asked? and where are you? If in the SE suburbs try <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.centralmotorcycles.com.au">www.centralmotorcycles.com.au</a><!-- w -->). Are you getting the RWC to sell the bike or so that you can register the bike? If the former, then fixing the dash (if severly cracked) may be beneficial anyways.
A friend of mine is making me one out of alloy and putting it in, it should be sweet then, he was just taking his time that was all so I thought i'd ask to see if anyone had one coz I thought someone might have one and I wouldn't expect it to cost that much then I could have gotten my RWC sooner but he said he is gonna finish it tonight, so hopefully he does then its all good. I'm getting the RWC so I can transfer it into my name.
