I'm not fussed where it comes from, but those little pouches you find under the seat... hoping to score one from a wrecked bike or perhaps someone has one lying around. I realise I can buy some cheaply made ones, but the original ones are much more durable.
Stu, I have nearly all my riding life used a tank bag. Things like a 12" shifter, tyre repair kit, first aid kit, spare wire (both electrical and fencing types), duct tape, and other stuff I cannot remember at the moment all fit and if anything tries to abandon ship I will feel it hit my knee on the way past and hopefully grab it.
Stu as per another thread but Ive just taken delivery of 2 bikes. Well I opened up the seat on the second 1 and low and behold there it was.....original tool kit in its little bag...made me smile.
lol want to send it to me? I must admit my request is two fold. Firstly because I want an original toolkit and secondly because whatever dumbo designed the underseat compartment on the FZR didn't take into account that without the toolkit things tend to fall out. Very, very annoying. It's only got 3 sides. Who would do that, seriously?
Found one in the zxr and it had the C spanner as well, well pleased Stu, keep an eye on ebay, they come up from time to time.
Yeh I'll keep searching. I know there's a bunch of guys with more bikes than sheds round these parts so I figure someones got to have at least 1 lying around they don't want!!
