    Hey all,

I've mentioned this before in another thread, but I've decided to be done with it and post this up and get it running.

I've long wondered what Little Cherry will do down the Quarter. And I want to find out. I'm quite willing to do it alone, but thought it might be good if some members tagged along, and made a day or afternoon of it.

    So, here's the Gist.

We meet up at a designated place, maybe have some fun, coffee, or grub before heading out to Willowbank to see what our machines will do.

The event that we will be going to is the Willowbank test 'n tune, which allows pretty much anyone to put their car or bike down the strip below a certain time (9.5 for street bikes so that wont be a problem with us). The only issue is picking a day/date. The reason being, that Willowbanks test 'n tunes can be pretty hectic, especially coming up to events. There are two testing days, Wednesday and Saturdays (Occasionally a Friday). Wednesdays are Quieter. But some people may not be able to come with work commitments. Also some events may be rescheduled to a test n tune night due to a rain out previously.

But enough explaining. So to give everyone a good chance to get their bike ready, get time off, and the best calendar opportunities, I am proposing a ride and drag day on one of the 3 following options:

    23rd of May

    20th of June

    27th of June

These are all Test n tune events. Ive Looked at the Calendar and these are the best days that miss main events (weather permitting). While it may look like other weekends may be free, I used to work at a servo just up from the track, and the weekends before events would be very busy due to people trying to dial in and test their machines for the next weekend. So need to avoid that too. Man this is hard!

We could even try a Wedsenday. They are quieter, (for obvious reasons) except if that weekend is an event. Then they are pretty busy. There is meant to be an all bike day in June, but that would probably be packed, and runs limited. They do have a later start time though.

    Saturday events -
Gates open at 4pm and runs commence at 4.30pm

    Wednesday & Friday events -
Gates open at 5.30pm and runs commence at 6pm

If there are any other dates you think are available, feel free to look. But we want to avoid the weeks before Winternationals.

    http://www.showticksecure.com/willo...file/2015/calendar/calendar 2015 - 230315.pdf

Just trying to Maximise our runs, especially if more than say 8 people come.

    So what do you need:

-The bike 250cc Maybe bigger if your fity aint running.

-Approved Full Face Helmet – AS 1698 min

-Leather Jacket, Long Pants boots & riding gloves

    -$45 for the entry fee.

-Fuel in the bike (dont wanna run out at the track)

    Thats it.

Let me know who is interested, ill tag a few Qld'ers that may be interested so that way they know, get the word around. Maybe have some non members with 250's come along.

Sounds like a plan. As per usual everything depends on upcoming work for me and, given the state of the industry, I am loathe to knock back anything. I'd like to see what the bike can do down the quarter now though. I've got the jetting just about spot on.

I'm out. Lost the magnetic key for my ignition and it looks like a 2 month wait for a recoded key.

Yeah but it's a PITA to be honest. The card is coded to the specific ignition so you can't just interchange them. Plus there are different racing keys to deretrict the bike; one for leaded fuel, another for unleaded and a third for AV Gas. Only problem is they turn the LCD Speedo into a big temperature gauge and you have to mess with the wiring harness to get the lights and everything working. Plus they aren't cheap.

Haven't had a great week. Got home from work to find some ***** had stolen my KTM. Then I lost the key to the NSR the next day.

Yeah thanks guys. I loved that bike. Thieves suck. Had it chained up with a disk lock too. Coppers reckon they were professional steal to order mob. They moved my other bikes to get at the KTM. Left no prints. Chances of getting it back about 5%. At least it's an excuse to get a new dirt bike though ha ha.

Ok guys we are getting close to a date. Looking at the 27th. I've been rostered on both Fri/Sat Graveyard shifts at the servo, on the 20th so prefer to do 27th.

Any ideas for a run before hand? Possibly Nebo/Glorious, stop for Some grub, pop out at Fernvale then go to Willowbank?

I have a couple of workmates interested in coming as well, so be good to make a day of it.
