From looking at it very closely.. i dont think it will fit on a 3LN.. the tank looks different so does the rear fairings.. but the side looks kinda the same cant be for sure.

the tank isn't a tank - it's a tank cover (2kr's have an internal tank). I've been looking at the two versions (2kr's vs. 3ln's) and the fairings are close. The only difference I can tell from looking at it in pictures is the fresh air intake on the 2kr's is in the upper portions of the side fairings, whereas the air intake is in the nose fairing in the 3lns.

    2kr (right side): http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/010573/
    3ln (right side): http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/001734/

From looking it seems like the bottom screw on right side (near footpeg) on the 3ln is further back. On the left side there is a difference in attaching around the stand. But as to the degree of difference (i.e. is it workable) i have no clue.

nah..too much effort then. Will wait until I can source some for a 3LN.

Mine are all broken around the mounts, so would be a bitch to fix up. I don't even know how much plastic welding costs, but I've heard it's damn expensive.

that's last on my list though...I've just heard from the bike mechanic that it's gonna cost me 600 in total for the repairs I've just had done - new plugs and clean carbies to get it running, straighten forks & replace fork seals and new blinkers + flasher can.

    ouch.
