    Hey Guys,

    I'm looking for another bike after a friend pulled out on me. He was going to sell me his 1992 CBR250RR for $3.5k however, found a buyer for $4k. Much to my disappointment.

    However, I've decided to go with the FZR and found this:
    <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4631792139&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1">http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... %3AIT&rd=1</a><!-- m -->

    I have made a deal for which I'm pretty happy with, an undisclosed amount which I won't say till I get her <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

    Just wondering though, I don't believe the Year 2000 model exists, I asked the seller and she said that it was manufactured that year. Looked at the bike lists, says FZR only goes up to 94?

    Are they unaware (even asked if it was just 2000 complied, said no) or could it genuwinely be a year 2000 bike.

    When were the single lights introduced etc? I'm guessing that's an indication as well.

    Cheers.

    It is not a 2000. That much is for sure. I don't know my models, but I'm going to say it's a 1992/93.

    It's a 3ln with single headlight so can be anywhere from 91-94(yamaha stopped manufacturing thest in 1994). Regardless it is a nice example of a 3ln judging by the pics. Whatever deal you got - provided it was around the buy-it-now price on ebay - is darn good!

    Just be sure to buy your own (new) helmet and don't use the one supplied with the bike. One never knows where a second hand helmet has been...

    Thanks guys. Hope to see you on the roads soon! Just wanted to clarify because I can't inspect the bike myself, I'm shipping it to Adelaide.
