Umm yeah... as the title says "What does throttle stop screw do?" When I took of my carbs I messed with it BAD, so I was wondering what its actual purpose is? Sometimes I find that if I open up the throttle then back off and open up again my bike is more powerful the second time. Whats the deal?
Do you mean the idle adjust? Because that's the only screw that really is a stop for the throttle. Or do you mean the screw that is in the middle of the carbs with a spring? That helps balance the carbs. You might need to provide a picture.
nvm I'm an idiot. I dont even want to explain this one. Can i have a get out of jail free card on this one?
I knew what the idle mixture screw did but I didn't know what the throttle stop screw did (they are the same thing). The service manual confused me, when I was taking off my carbs the first time I loosened the screw by hand instead of using the IMS cord but now I realize its the exact same thing and I know what it does. Just a blond moment.
