Do you think the bike will be OK? I've only just got the bike and a little worried. Maybe i'm just stressing to much I cant store it inside, no room....

I keep my bike in my bedroom. It's a bit of a pain to get it up the steps tho.

it shouldn't hurt a bit to leave it in the rain as long as any metal parts (Tank etc...) aren't missing any paint

buy a GOOD quality cover... the thin silver ones are crap and melt over the end can but there is a nice expensive type and it is red... nice felt inside..

Best place is inside the house away from the humidity... or a garage... just make soure to lay a plastic sheat under the slab when building it... humidity again...

It would be a pain living near the coast with stuff rusting up on you. I ride my bike in the rain all the time and don’t dry it off but I keep it in the garage. The bike has less rust now than it did when I bought it in Sydney, one of the few perks of living in Canberra. Oh and as soon as anyone can find a way of riding the bike up and down stairs without breaking it let me know, lol.

One more thing, will the rain rust the brake discs?

Bikes will cope in the rain (I ride mine daily - rain or shine). It is preferable to keep them out of the rain but they will cope if they get wet. Things (including chains, discs, etc) shouldn't rust if they just get rained on the odd time. The main concern is if they are in constant humidity or if water is left pooled somewhere for a period of time. But if it is ridden regularly that won't happen...

Yes and no... if they are mad out of steel (usualy preformance disks) than yes... If they are made out of stainless steel.. than no not usualy.. but than again if they are of poor quality they will het pitting (the iron in the stainless steel will rust)

How odd.. the 3LN uses stock some very poor quality disks.. I have seen many pitted... especialy if the bike stod around in the wether for many years...
