Warn through valve cover

    Whipped the valve cover off the zxr and found this!

    After a good clean it appears that the cam chain had warn almost right through the cover!

    Soooooooo, anyone got any good ideas on how to fix this? Jb weld?

    ouchies.... umm i have a spare engine i could grab the cover off it... BUT i need to see if the engine is an A or C model... give me a couple mins

    uuummm just had a thought... wouldn't the engines cases be the same between the A and C models? only the bore and stroke are different correct?

    if someone could shed some light on this for me that would be grouse..

    According to the parts catalogue I downloaded on this site they are the same part no, and they look identical?

    in that case.... i do have one on my track bike engine... But you will have to wait until i get home from my bike rally.. i leave tomorrow and will be back sunday so during the week i will pull the engine apart..
