Valve Clearances

    What should the valve clearance be for an '86 2kr? Thanks

    Most motorcycles as follows:

    Intake 0.1 - 0.2mm
    Exhaust 0.2 - 0.3mm

    I haven't got any experiance with the behavior if the seat and valves on these models so I couldn't really tell you if the seat/valve will wear or the bucket/cam lobe will wear.

    Seat/valve will tighten the clearance.

    Bucket/cam will increase the clearance.

    Depending where you find the clearences at will tell you which side of the range you should be aiming for adjusting to. So if they are all tight (and out of spec) adjust back to the looser side of the spec and vice versa.
