As some of you may know, i have had my bike at the mechanics for bloody ages (or so it seems) gettin stuff done to it. when i bought it, it had some serious issues. decided to get the professionals to do it, set it up right. - First had carbs cleaned and general service done it still ran like shite - Had EVERY shim replaced, as EVERY valve was out still ran like shite - Got the carb specs off this site (thanks guys) had all the jetting tuned still ran like shite so now, we work out the valves seats are prob leaking it should be fixed by tomorrow night but i have had a bloody headache that panadol wont fix for the last 2 weeks and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ swear words just dont do this justice. thats my bitch session for today.
it sucks without a bike to ride ay! i havent had that much fiddling around, but i havent seen my FZR for just over 6 weeks now! thats how long it takes to get an engine replaced under warranty when you live out in te sticks...
im at leeton, bit more than an hour west of wagga. havent been on the bike in wagga recently but ill be over there sometime soon when i get it back.

yeah good point there. im heading to canberra tomoro so i might check out some wreckers as well as get that leather jacket ive been after.. just on the point of spares, whats reasonable pricing for a set of carbs, rear wheel and a set of front calipers?
There's really no set price for spare parts on these things... But ball park figures should be: Carbs ~$100 Rear wheel ~$140 without rubber (although not sure on that one... also depends if it comes with the cush drive and sprocket etc). Front calipers ~$70-120 for the pair in decent condition. Those prices are just approximate prices of what it costs to get parts for almost any small grey market bike, so they may vary depending on availability and how friendly you are with your local parts dude.
