    Hi guys,

Just wanting to get some feedback on tyre warmers. I want to get some for my cibby 250rr as I had a real close encounter with a big high side at QR on Saturday. I thought the tyres would have been reasonably warm after 3.5 laps, obviously not warm enough.

Anyway the research that I have done all suggests to get a thermostatically controlled preset temperature type and to purchase them from either the UK or Italy.

The reviews keep saying the stuff off eBay from china all get hotspots and burn through the warmer so I'm a little reluctant to buy any from there.

The other little problem is the size my rear is a 150/60R17 and the front is 110/70R17, nearly all the warmers I've looked at are 160 width. I would not have thought this would be to big of an issue but keen to know what your thoughts are.

My tyres are Dunlop alpha 12h sportmax and the heating that Dunlop suggest is 70 degrees. Most if not all of the preset temperature warmers heat to 80 degrees and I'm a little concerned this may damage the tyre, again keen to know your thoughts.

    Cheers

Tyga has tyre warmers that are made for smaller bikes (250s and 400s). They're competitively priced as well.

Tyga would be a good brand for this, its a bit costly yes its very worth it.
