So the other morning I was in a rush to get out the door to work, piled everything I needed for work in the one hand Phone, keys, wallet and headphones (helmet in the other hand). Went out to the bike which I had been working on the night before. I had left the boot open (across),I chucked all of the things in my hand in the boot and shut it.... so now my keys are locked in the boot. Thanks to a previous chat with chris I knew how to "break into it" 20 mins later and I was on my way to work only 35 mins late. Can anyone beat this?
Nice, its a pretty good get out of Jail free card... I bought an Across with a flat battery and found that trick on Google, saved my Bacon a few times
When I still lived on the farm I hit a neighbours cow on the way to work one morning. Just made it for morning tea.
Years ago I had around 60 people working for me, this particular Thursday one chap hadn't shown up for work, 20 minutes later he came running in, not looking his best I might add. I queried him about being late. He claimed he hadn't been feeling well and went back to bed. Ok, so what happened and why are you here. His answer floored me: IT'S PAY DAY!!!!! Didn't have the heart to dock him, honesty prevailed.
I can relate to that .... back in the day when u lined up at the pay window to collect the little brown envelope full of crisp new notes ..... pay back ya mates , a couple aside for ya mum , then off to the pub...... rinse and repeat. No one was ever off sick every second Thursday
