Whats the best (and easiest) way to test for spark? Bikes not starting so I want to see if we at least getting a spark! And is there any problems with jumping the bike off a car batery? Mines flat after trying to start the bike for ages

Yeah, you can jump it from a car battery. Do a search and you should find something about it. One thing that I have that always comes in handy is a battery charger I got from the auto parts store. Just make sure it is for bikes and not cars.

You should be able to find something on testing for spark but I will give you the low down anyway. Take the plug out of the head. Attach the lead to the plug and touch the threaded part of the plug against the engine block. Keep your fingers away and crank the engine over. Nice blue spark is what you are looking for.
