Hey all, The tacho on mah fzr 3ln1 does not work. So, as i am a newby to bikes, i thought i might seek ur expert advice any ideas what might be wrong and how to troubleshoot ? i did take off the instrument panel just to have a look but could not see anything out of ordinary. any advice greately apreciated.
The tacho is electronic and driven by the same signal that fires one of the spark coils from the CDI. Check that there is power (12v) at the tacho with the ignition on, and no loose or dirty connections. edit: I think there is a plug behind the dash in the loom, at least there is on the 2KR models. Check there first.
Mmmmmmm... now i want taco's. Thankfully there's a Taco Bills just over the road from my joint! Half price food Monday/Tuesday, and half price Margherita's on Wednesday/Thursday! PS.
