Anyone up for a ride this Sunday? I'm up for any ideas, as long as the weather is good. Forecast from Bureau of Meteorology: Sunday : Dry. Partly cloudy. W/SW winds Sydney: 14 23 Liverpool: 12 24 Penrith: 12 25 Richmond: 11 25 I would recommend either, Old Pacific Highway, Putty Road (haven't done it before so would require a competent leader) or Royal National Park which we usually do. If RNP is chosen then I recommend going nice and early, no later then 10am to avoid Sunday drivers. So who's in?
Bad timing Ajax, I have to head up with a friend to check out a bike he wants to buy. I hope to ride old road or putty road when I get the chance to. I hear lots of good praise about it!
bloody hell ajak, you couldn't have chosen a more annoying time. I'm going out on the piss sat night, so more than likely i wont be alive until lunchtime, let alone able to ride a bike. I might go after lunch, depending on how i feel, etc. if i go i'll be doing the old road, too far to go to the RNP/sunday drivers and all this rain would have made it slippery. No way am i going near the putty after any rain, that road has moss growing on it midway through corners! I reckon we make it an afternoon old road ride, that way i'm sober and can come.
Alright if you guys want it can be next week. Me and a CBR250RR dude are willing to go Sunday afternoon as well. So its Old Pacific Highway either this Sunday the 14th or next Sunday the 21st. Come on Sydney FZR riders, all I ever get is regulars replies!
